April is Autism Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness, promoting understanding, and supporting those with autism and their families. In our church community, we are excited to host a Walkathon for Autism Awareness to contribute to this important cause. This event aims to not only raise funds for autism-related research and programs but also to foster inclusion and support for individuals on the autism spectrum.

The Walkathon is an opportunity for everyone—regardless of age or ability—to come together in solidarity and show their commitment to a world that is more accepting and understanding of autism. Participants will join in a fun, family-friendly walk around our local area, with all proceeds going towards supporting local autism programs, advocacy, and outreach efforts.

Through this event, we hope to spread awareness, promote acceptance, and inspire change. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by autism, fostering a more inclusive community where everyone is valued and celebrated.

We invite everyone in the church family and beyond to participate, whether by walking, volunteering, or donating. Your involvement in this Walkathon will help provide much-needed resources and create a brighter, more inclusive future for individuals with autism.

Let’s take steps toward a more inclusive world, one walk at a time.

Our church organization is honored to announce that a portion of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to Autism Speaks, supporting their mission to enhance the lives of individuals with autism and their families. Thank you for your generous contributions to this meaningful cause.
