The men’s conference begins with a powerful and uplifting opening reception designed to honor the strength, sacrifice, and steadfastness of men in every season of life. This special gathering recognizes fathers, husbands, providers, and protectors—men who show up, stand firm, and keep pressing forward even when the road is tough. With the conference theme “Men ought always to pray and not to faint” (Luke 18:1) guiding the evening, we celebrate not only what men do, but who they are: pillars of faith, courage, and perseverance.
Adding to the excitement, the atmosphere will be brought to life by a dynamic performance from the Elite Quartet featuring Danny Bowens, setting the tone for a weekend filled with purpose and brotherhood. Expect heartfelt moments, joyful connection, and an environment where every man—new or returning—feels welcomed and valued. Band of Brothers: United in Prayer, Unshaken in Spirit is a deeply intentional men-only gathering designed to bring men into authentic connection—emotionally, personally, and spiritually. Anchored in Luke 18:1—“men ought always to pray and not to faint,” this session creates a safe and sacred space where men can be real, be heard, and be strengthened together.
In a world that often pressures men to carry burdens alone, this experience breaks that cycle by fostering brotherhood through openness and trust. Here, men won’t just talk—they’ll connect on a deeper level, sharing challenges, victories, and the realities of life.

This powerful session, led by respected community leader Percy Bland, invites men to take an honest and forward‑looking look at what leadership means in modern times. With decades of experience in youth development and faith‑based service, Percy will challenge and inspire participants to consider how men can actively shape their communities, strengthen bonds among families, and stand firm as examples of faith in a rapidly changing world.
A panel of brothers will join the conversation, offering real‑life perspectives on serving, guiding, and uplifting others in today’s cultural landscape. Together, we’ll explore how men can let their light shine—boldly, compassionately, and consistently—while embracing the conference theme: “Men ought always to pray and not to faint” (Luke 18:1). This session is an invitation to engage deeply, think critically, and rise confidently into the roles God has called us to fulfill as leaders, protectors, and builders of strong communities.

Take part in the Men’s Conference Friday evening prayer as a time for us to convene spiritually. The whole church is invited to evening prayer in which we will give thanks for God’s provision and petition God for our needs as Jesus taught us. We hope you will join us for some praise and worship as a family

Description: Come discuss important topics impacting daily life in the midst of changing times. We’ll discuss artificial intelligence (AI), social media, and the changing nature of relationships. All three areas are increasingly impacting one another, our daily lives and our futures. Pull up and continue the conversation on how we continue to let our lights shine as children of faith in changing times.

Join us, as we commemorate 34 years of Bishop Omega’s ministry, centering our Jesus spiritually edifying TCLJC bringing us from darkness to light. There will be dinner and entertainment Saturday night including our own Brother Herman Pyatt and the Rhythm Tec Band. We’ll break bread and be entertained with a host of evening activities. Together, we will uncover a one of a kind mystery that will be sure to keep us all guessing. At the end of the night, we will dance the night away.
